The PG Diploma in Questioned Document, Handwriting, and Fingerprint Analysis is an advanced course structured to teach law professional, law students and other bachelor’s students with the essential skills and knowledge required for forensic examination of questioned document in legal contexts. This course is structured for individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of document examination techniques, handwriting verification, and fingerprint identification methods. Through a comprehensive curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, students will learn to analyze and interpret evidence, ensuring accuracy and reliability in forensic investigations.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Science/Medicine/ Forensic Science/ Pharmacy/ Engineering/Law/Computer Science etc. with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any recognized institute/University for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS category candidates, and 45 % for SC/ST/PwD Candidates.
Upon successful completion of the PG Diploma in Forensic Science and Criminology, law practitioners/law students will achieve the following outcomes:
1) Proficient in analyzing, authenticating, and preserving questioned documents.
2) Expert in identifying and comparing fingerprints.
3) Capable of integrating document, handwriting, and fingerprint evidence in investigations.
