In today’s rapidly evolving digital world, the internet has become an essential tool for communication, learning, and entertainment, especially for adolescents. However, with these opportunities come significant challenges, such as cyberbullying, online predators, data privacy issues, and exposure to harmful content. To address these concerns, the Department of Forensic Science and Cyber Forensics of SKD University, Hanumangarh is pleased to present this Cyber Safety Program for Adolescents. This program aims to trained young individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.

Through expert guidance, practical advice, and real-life examples, the initiative seeks to foster awareness about the risks of cyberspace, while also empowering participants to protect themselves, their personal information, and their digital well-being.

We believe that by promoting safe internet practices, we can help create a secure online environment where adolescents can thrive and learn without fear of harm or exploitation.

  • Save evidence – Take screenshots or save messages.
  • Protect your privacy – Avoid sharing personal details online.
  • Use privacy settings – Set your social media profiles to private.
  • Block or report – Block the bully and report inappropriate content.
  • Talk to a trusted adult – Share your experience with a parent, teacher, or counselor.
  • Don’t retaliate – Avoid fighting back or engaging with the bully.
  • Keep conversations respectful – Be mindful of your own words online.
